I can’t believe how much we think alike! I bought this stamp a short while ago and I just stamped it and it’s ready to color!!!!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Crikey! This is so stunning that I have just ordered this stamp and will be sitting with my Copic pens in my hot little hands eagerly awaiting for the postie man to arrive with my new Penny Black treasure! Thank you so much for the in-depth details for colouring. I tend to shy away from using grey… might have something to do with finding my first grey hairs…. but you have given me inspiration to overcome my grey-phobia and embrace it as a way to create depth. You are so correct that you learn something new each time you use alcohol inks. I wonder if they would cover those greying tendrils on my head?? Thank you for sharing your gorgeous cards, directions to recreate them and your generous guidance.

Hi Judy!! Welcome!! Thank you for all your comments and humor!! 😀 I’m really glad that my post encouraged you in your Copics coloring! I’m fairly new at them and still adding to my collection, learning the tricks and tips. But I really liked using the grays on those blossoms just because my hand was tired from coloring in all the others!! 😉 I hear ya, re: the gray hairs!! I’m mostly blonde so my grays don’t show up TOO much but oh, they’re there!! 😀 I hope you keep coloring and stop by here again soon! Sharon
