Stampendous Wisteria

It’s official; I’m in LOVE!  Stampendous has nailed it again with a gorgeous Wisteria stamp!  I spent a little time coloring with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, adding layers of purples and a touch of aqua, then surrounded the flowers with shades of gray, softening with a water brush.  Once again, I used that beautiful script stamp from Stampin Up’s retired Botanicals to lightly stamp over the image, then spattered droplets of water over it all. I sponged a little Peeled Paint distress ink then a layer of Iced Spruce oxide ink around the edges, after cutting the image with my Gina Marie Designs Stitched Circle dies.

The leafy background is cut from a notecard sent to me by a friend (it immediately went into my paper stash to recycle!) and I sponged a bit of the same distress inks around the edges to soften.  I punched a hole and inserted a pearl brad to anchor the little grosgrain ribbon tab; the round image is mounted on another circle of fun foam to lift it up.  I really enjoyed creating this beautiful card!
